The Spanish bean soup with chorizo only calls for basic ingredients that everyone has at home or can find at any store, yet you have some room for replacements.

You can prepare these Spanish beans with chorizo with vegetable or chicken broth, the vegetable one is more neutral and won’t clash with the flavors, meanwhile, the chicken one has a richer savory profile to it, which is translated to the finished result.

Do you want to include more vegetables in your diet? Then you can add some to this white bean soup with chorizo, such as potatoes, zucchini, pumpkin, etc.

Unfortunately, you can’t make this dish vegan as chorizo is one of the main ingredients, but we have some delicious vegan or vegetarian Spanish soup recipes for you to try, such as the Spanish black bean soup and the Spanish black bean and corn soup.
